The El Paso Community Foundation Plaza Classic Film Festival is accepting entries for its eighth annual Local Flavor showcase through June 20th.
Doug Pullen is in his 12th year as the program director for the El Paso Community Foundation and its highly popular Plaza Classic Film Festival, which celebrates its 18th anniversary July 17-27, 2025 ,in and around the historic, restored Plaza Theatre in El Paso, TX. Born in Maine, he is an Eastwood High School and Texas Tech University graduate who worked nearly 40 years as a music critic, movie critic and arts and entertainment writer for newspapers in Texas and Michigan, where he covered the Detroit music scene for nearly 20 years.
