Plaza Classic Film Festival Program Advisory Committee member Rebecca Mendez joins Stephanie Valle and Lisa Elliott to define and identify scamps in some of our favorite movies.
Rebecca Mendez is an El Paso native who attended Canutillo High School, El Paso Community College, and New Mexico State University. There, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication and a double minor in Marketing and Advertising.
Rebecca’s initial career in the nonprofit sector began in 2016 at the El Paso Chamber (Government Relations Coordinator and Executive Assistant to the President and CEO); Program Coordinator at the United Way of El Paso County (REALIZE Board Training Program in partnership with the Paso del Norte Health Foundation); Program & Engagement Coordinator at the Jewish Federation of El Paso & Las Cruces; and is the new Philanthropy & Relations Manager at the United Way of El Paso County.
Rebecca joined the Plaza Classic Film Festival Advisory Committee in 2017 and you can see her introducing films during the festival season.
