El Paso Resources and Service Learning Agencies: Choose a Topic

For this class, you will be asked to find information on your topic.

You may already know what topic you will be researching.  In that case, you can go on to the next topic: "Find Background Information."

If you are not sure what type of topic you are interested in:

• Skim through some of the resources that the library has in print and online. (See below for some suggestions.)
• Browse through local newspapers to find a topic that is interesting to you.
• Ask your instructor for suggestions or feedback on your topic choice.
