People in Medicine to Research

Here are some suggested names for which there's a good amount of information: 

  • Schuster Family / Providence Hospital see information in the Men in Medicine and Science link
  • Dr, Jerome Love -- Nationally known Ysleta physician who had a mobile office and delivered babies in the lower valley, 1930s-1940s.  
  • Ira Pearl Gunn -- Military nurse anesthetist buried in Arlington Cemetery
  • Dr, Mariano Samaniego -- Juarez pioneer physician, governor of Chihuahua, health officer, soldier.
