A Dash of Cinema is a blend of the two delicious worlds of food and film. In other words, we cook up the food you see in movies! Have you ever watched a movie and wondered what the characters were eating? Have you ever thought about why food plays such an important role in many films? With a degree in Media Studies and a love for cooking, I (Lauren) created A Dash of Cinema to explore this curiosity.

Cinehouse is the little brother of The People's Movies Blog, covering the independent, Arthouse, International (as well as classic) movie genres. Some of these movies may be major releases in your country and straight to dvd in other parts of the globe but some may only see the light of day at the film festivals around the globe.
