Rudy Vasquez joins hosts Stephanie Valle and Lisa Elliott for a look Behind the Scenes.
Rudy Vasquez is the Marketing Director for the El Paso Community Foundation, a philanthropic organization in El Paso Texas. Prior to that, Rudy served as the Marketing and Communications Manager, for the El Paso Downtown Management District for nearly a decade. Fun fact, he has also been a professional illustrator in the independent comic book scene for almost two decades.
Rudy has worked on books such as the graphic novel for Dean Koontz’ "Frankenstein," the "Funhouse of Horrors," "Carnival of Souls," "Atomic Dreams" and "Carnival of Horrors" by Carnival Comics, the official Family Guy sketch cards by Inkworks and with local creators such as Jacob Marmolejo’s "The Afflicted."
Rudy’s introduction into marketing began in 2009 working as illustrator and marketing professional for Carnival Comics, the digital comic book publisher with millions of downloads in more than 200 countries. He has scaled back his work in the comic book industry to focus on his work serving his hometown through the El Paso Community Foundation.
