Sometimes your professor will put a book or other material on "Reserve."
The "Reserve" section of the library is at the long counter just to the right of the library entrance. You will need to show a photo ID.
Reserve material usually has to be used in the library (cannot be checked out). You can sit, read, take notes, make photocopies (10 cents/page) or scan the material.
Books and DVD's on Reserve
Stop by the Reference Desk in the middle of the first level of library. We can check the catalog and see if your professor has a book or DVD on Reserve.
Articles or Study Guides on Reserve
Sometimes your professor will put an article or study guide on Reserve. The articles are not listed in the catalog.
If your professor has put an article or study guide on Reserve, stop by the Reserve counter and inquire.
You can only use the article or study guide in the library, but you may make copies (10 cents per page), take notes or scan the material.
