Las Vegas-based writer and director Joe Lujan is heading to Rebels Comics this Saturday, Feb. 24, for the release of his graphic novel, "The Vanquishers."

The first of Lujan’s new comic book series, “The Vanquishers” follows Deviants, a group of ostracized people with superpowers. The story is set in a dystopian world ruled by the evil corporation, Dominion Industries, and takes places after the events in Lujan's newest film "The Immortal Wars."

Jamie’s Jungle! (230 pages) is a series of comics for kids that emphasizes the importance of taking care of our environment. From water pollution to the depletion of the earth’s resources, each episode explores a different topic and teaches students ways that they can make a difference for our planet.
