Introduction

The Rio Grande Border Health Clinic is a facility that provides the Health Career and Technical Education students with the opportunity to participate in clinical experiences and provide health services to the students and community.

Physical Therapy

Physical Therapy services include education, health promotion, disability prevention, and rehabilitation. Call 831-4017.

Diagnostic Medical Sonography

Diagnostic Medical Sonography provides Obstetric Sonogram exams, prenatal care, and abdominal testing. $15 Need a doctor's referral. Call: 831-4017

Who Can Use These Services?

Anyone can use the Rio Grande Border Health Clinic!

Students, faculty, staff, elderly, children, neighbors, and patients with referrals.

Nursing

Nursing provides Immunizations, vital signs monitoring, blood sugar screening, breast exam awareness, breast feeding classes, and general health promotion. Call: 831-4016 (H129)

Dental

Dental Clinic provides cleaning, scaling, x-rays, dental health promotion, and education.

Walk in screening appointments for new patients

MWF (8/26-12/4 8:30am-9:30am and 1:30pm-2:30pm)

No screenings: August 28, August 31, September 7, September 18, October 2, October 9, October 16, October 23, November 25 and November 27

First come first serve basis

Our services include dental x-rays, dental cleanings which include an oral cancer screening, periodontal assessments, periodontal debridement and dental polishing. Intraoral camera, phase microscope, fluoride treatments and dental sealants if indicated

Location/Hours

The Clinic is located at 1001 N. El Paso Street inside the "H" Building at the Rio Grande Campus. (First Floor)

Hours:

8:00am-5:00pm Monday - Friday

Closed for lunch from 12:00pm-1:00pm

Laboratory

Laboratory provides pregnancy testing, pathogens and chronic disease identifications, anemia screening, cholesterol and triglycerides screening, and education classes in heart disease.
