ENGL 2322 - British Literature Survey: Anglo-Saxon to the 18th Century (C) (Daniel Vasquez ): Citations & Writing Styles

This guide will show you how to use the library to find the resources you need to write your Research Paper assignment.

Citing Your Sources

Once you have written your Report on a Critical School, Literary Analysis, Annotated Bibliography and Research Paper, you will need to make sure that you give credit to all of the resources you used.

This means that you have to say where you got the information that was used in your paper.  This is called a citation.

A citation usually includes information such as the author's name, title of the book, or article and journal, publisher, date, and more.

This information allows the instructor to know where you found your research.

For this assignment your instructor is giving you the option to use two different writing and citation styles, APA or MLA.
