EPCC Writing Center

Students can ask questions, share their writing assignments, and receive feedback through a one-on-one tutoring session with a tutor. Writing tutoring services are offered for class assignments from any discipline, creative writing, scholarship applications, and more. Online writing tutoring services are open to all EPCC students, faculty, staff, and the community.  Connect with a writing tutor in real-time via Blackboard Collaborate.

Online advising for first-time in college students (entering students or students in their first 2 semesters) is available.

Early Alert First-Year Experience specializes in advising New, First-Time in College, and First-Year students. Early Alert Advisors, Early Alert Counselors, and Peer Academic Coaches are happy to assist you via online meetings to facilitate you through your online academic transition.

Early Alert Advisors and Early Alert Counselors are available online to assist students with academic advising services, i.e. general advising, registration, add/drop/withdrawal, and program map guidance.

Campus Life

Campus Life provides activities throughout the academic year. These activities are intended to motivate and increase student understanding of arts, athletics, culture, current events and the community; and most of all, enjoyment. These experiences are provided to the students through special programs, art exhibits, lecture series, film and much more.

How does a student participate? Just show up! All of the activities are free to the students with a valid ID card. To get an ID or validate ID card, just visit one of the Campus Life offices located at each campus. Activities are posted at each campus.

Veterans Resource Center

Veterans Resource Center

The Veterans Resource Center serves students who are active duty, retired, reservist or National Guard veterans, spouses of veterans and dependent children of service- disabled veterans. The Veterans Resource Center at El Paso Community College is a "one stop" service for veterans who want to pursue education. Our Friendly staff will answer your questions about programs and services offered to veterans, including the educational benefits programs offered by the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs.

The Valle Verde Bookstore is currently the only campus bookstore that is open.  They have the textbooks for all 5 campuses.

Distance Learning Support Services

Distance Learning Support Services

The Distance Learning Support Services Department (DLSS) administers the learning management system called Blackboard, the software used to deliver instruction in online, hybrid and enhanced courses. DLSS provides support and training to EPCC students.

To help prepare you for the Spring 2021 semester, access and download the Learning Online at EPCC - Spring 2021 Student Handbook and LockDown Browser & Monitor Student Guide.
