Creative thinking is both the capacity to combine or synthesize existing ideas, images, or expertise in original ways and the experience of thinking, reacting, and working in an imaginative way characterized by a high degree of innovation, divergent thinking, and risk taking.
- American Association of Colleges and Universities  (AAC&U)

In March 2023, the Creativity Intervention Team, a subcommittee of the Curriculum Committee, tasked with developing suggestions to increase creativity in the General Education/Core Curriculum, decided to develop a collaboration with EPCC libraries to support faculty/student integration of Creativity/Innovation learning strategies. This library guide is part of that effort, and is meant as a clearinghouse of creativity pedagogies & processes across the disciplines and hopes to engage faculty with dialogue and discussions of creativity.
