AAA's Mission is: "To promote health care policies that ensure excellence in the ambulance services industry and provide research, education and communications programs to enable its members to effectively address the needs of the communities they serve."

Is the largest programmatic accreditor in the health sciences field. In collaboration with its Committees on Accreditation, CAAHEP reviews and accredits over 2000 educational programs in twenty-eight (28) health science occupations.

The mission of the CoAEMSP is to advance the quality of EMS education through accreditation.

The mission of the IRECA is to provide educational programs to share and evaluate recognized knowledge, standards and abilities for emergency responder’s world wide.

The only national association representing and serving all emergency medical services practitioners through quality education, membership and national advocacy.

The mission of the National Association of EMS Educators is to inspire excellence in EMS education and lifelong learning.

Lead national organization for EMS, a respected voice for national EMS policy with comprehensive concern and commitment for the development of effective, integrated, community-based, universal and consistent EMS systems.

Formed in April 2007 as a nationally recognized council of EMS representatives and consumers to provide advice and recommendations regarding EMS to NHTSA. NEMSAC does not exercise program management or regulatory development responsibilities, and makes no decisions directly affecting the programs on which it provides advice.

NEMSMA's goal is to identify, develop, promote and disseminate best practices in the management of EMS operations, including but not limited, to the management of human resources, vehicle fleets, information, data and logistics.

NHTSA's mission is to reduce death and disability by providing leadership and coordination to the EMS community in assessing, planning, developing, and promoting comprehensive, evidence-based emergency medical services and 9-1-1 systems.
