ENGL 1301 - NW Early College High School - Critical Thinking and Research Skills: Citations & Writing Styles

Engage in critical thinking skills, creative thinking, innovation and inquiry; demonstrate analysis, evaluation, and synthesis of information.

Citing Your Sources

Once you are ready to produce your Research Paper, you will need to make sure that you give credit to all of the resources you use.

This means that you have to say where you got the information that was used in your paper.  This is called a citation.  A citation usually includes information such as the author's name, title of the book, or article and journal, publisher, date, and more.

This information allows the instructor to know where you found your research. For this assignment your instructor has indicated the us of  American Psychological Association MLA Style 9th Edition.
