Sophos Antivirus

Sophos Anti-Virus is the virus protection software recommended and provided by EPCC Information Technology Division. This software detects and cleans up viruses, Trojans, worms, spyware, adware and other potentially unwanted applications.

Please follow the instructions below to enable access to Sophos Anti-Virus on your personal device, authenticating with your EPCC email address.

Internet Browsers

Update your web browser: EPCC applications and library online resources work best with Google Chrome, Firefox, or Safari.

It is recommended that you always run the latest version of your preferred browser on EPCC or personal computers for four main reasons: security, compatibility, experience and speed. Keeping your browser up-to-date will provide better protection against viruses, scams and other threats, as well as allow you to visit websites using the latest technology, customize your browsing experience and access websites more quickly.

Adobe Software Applications and Training

Access online Adobe software applications or download and install on your desktop computer, laptop or mobile device.

Install Adobe Acrobat to modify PDFs, Photoshop to edit photos, or other Adobe products on your desktop, laptop or mobile device by authenticating with your EPCC email address.  The EPCC Information Technology Division would like to advise you regarding the following: As a result of campus closure, student access to Adobe Creative Cloud in labs and classrooms is not available. Adobe has provided temporary at-home access for impacted students and faculty, so that they can continue their work remotely. Please follow the instructions below to enable access to Creative Cloud Desktop Apps on your personal device. Visit https://creativecloud.adobe.com and input your EPCC email address, then click on Continue.
