ENGL 1302 - Research, Writing and Literary Analysis (Michael Duncan): Citations & Writing Styles

Research tools and materials to support your research, writing and literary analysis for English 1302.

Citing Your Sources

Once you have written your Report on a Critical School, Literary Analysis, Annotated Bibliography and Research Paper, you will need to make sure that you give credit to all of the resources you used.

This means that you have to say where you got the information that was used in your paper.  This is called a citation.

A citation usually includes information such as the author's name, title of the book, or article and journal, publisher, date, and more.

This information allows the instructor to know where you found your research.

For this assignment your instructor is giving you the option to use two different writing and citation styles, APA or MLA.
