A bit about citation
Your instructors will require that you include information on the sources (books, articles, etc.) you use when writing or presenting for an assignment.
These critical bits of information are called Citations.
A citation should provide all the information necessary for a future reader to easily locate the book, article, or any other source you used.
For this reason, standards have been established by various entities for properly formatting citations in a uniform way.
The most common standards used at EPCC are made by:
The Modern Language Association (MLA)
The American Psychological Association (APA)
You'll need to know the basics of citation in order to properly cite your sources.
